Sandra J. Dexter AE ~ Editorial Services

Overwhelmed by the task of structuring, refining and presenting your family’s history?

Would like someone with editing and formatting to review and finetune a  local history group project?

Family histories

It’s a great responsibility to be the family historian. It requires lots of different skills and it can be overwhelming when you are faced with a myriad of documents, certificates, stories and photos.

My editing skills can help shape your work into a clearly structured and flowing publication. My formatting skills can help bring it all together with professional finesse.

I want to help you achieve your goal to do something special with your family history — focusing on who it is for and what you want to achieve. You may want to put together your research for a family reunion or anniversary, or collate a family recipe book or war service records.

Local histories

There is amazing work being done in local history groups. I have been privileged to work on a couple of WW1 publications for the Surrey Hills Historical Society, as well as display material for the 100th anniversary of the Surrey Gardens Shrine.

I love researching, editing and designing publications that bring local history alive for the current and future community. Projects that remember and illuminate the past.
